The bilateral agreement between Italy and Mongolia on international road freight transport has been signed, establishing a common regulatory framework to govern and facilitate commercial connections between the two countries.
The agreement aims to simplify transit operations, improve the efficiency of authorisation procedures, and ensure harmonised rules for access to the road freight transport market. It provides a regulatory tool to support the development of logistics flows along Europe–Asia corridors, contributing to greater integration of supply chains.
The agreement sets out the conditions for transport services, authorisation regimes and operational aspects related to bilateral and transit freight traffic.
